Audit log
The audit log records who changed what in your organization. It is admin only and is retained for 90 days.
What it records
The audit log captures changes to the things that matter for governance and security:
- Dashboards — created, edited, deleted.
- Saved queries — created, edited, deleted.
- Users and teams — invites, role changes, removals, and team membership changes.
- Organization settings — changes to the organization's configuration.
Each entry tells you who made the change and what was changed, so you can answer questions like "who deleted that dashboard?" or "when did this user become an admin?".
Viewing it
Open the Audit Log page (visible to admins). Because only admins can manage users, teams, organization settings, and API keys, the audit log is the place to review and verify those actions after the fact.
Retention
Audit entries are kept for 90 days, then automatically removed. If you need a longer-term record, export what you need before entries age out.
