Organization settings

The Organization Settings page is where admins configure organization-wide behavior. It is admin only. Beyond the organization's identity (name, slug, contact email — see Organizations), it holds two areas of configuration: the AI provider and the application error-rate thresholds.

AI provider (bring your own key)

Hexcovery's AI features — such as generating an OQL query from a plain-English question — can run against your own AI provider account. The AI card lets an admin configure:

  • Provider — which AI provider to use.
  • Model — the model to call.
  • Key — your provider API key (bring your own key, "BYOK"). It is stored encrypted.

When you supply your own provider, model, and key, AI features in your organization use that account.

Your key, your account

Because this is bring-your-own-key, the AI usage and any associated costs are billed by your provider to your account, not by Hexcovery.

Application error-rate thresholds

Across the Projects and Services pages, error rates are shown as colored badges — green, yellow, or red. The thresholds that decide which color a given error rate gets are configured per organization, so the bands match what "healthy" means for your software.

Admins set two values:

Setting Meaning
Green maximum At or below this error rate, the badge is green (healthy).
Red minimum At or above this error rate, the badge is red (unhealthy).

Error rates between the green maximum and the red minimum show as yellow. These thresholds apply consistently wherever error-rate badges appear, so a Project or Service is colored the same way everywhere.
